Now that 2009 has begun I thought I’d start actively working on this site some more, although it really has nothing to do with the New Year but rather as a result of my impending unemployment. Yes unfortunately its looking very likely that I’m going to be jobless soon.
I won’t bore you all with the details (at least not just yet) but I will admit that this is going to be a very serious problem for me, one which actually has me feeling rather scared.

I’ve just read a great post by Seth Godin about overnight success.
He quite rightly points out that there is rarely any such thing and that our perception of success has been warped by the media making a big deal about overnight successes (even when the person or thing concerned actually took weeks, months or even years to finally make it onto the media’s radar).
